Which Windows Server versions are available?

How does the Windows Server license work?

The image ships with the Microsoft evaluation license, which is renewable, so you can use the server normally. If you prefer your own license, you can apply it too. For any question, the technical team can advise you by ticket.

How do I connect to a Windows VPS?

Over Remote Desktop (RDP), with the Administrator user and the password you set at checkout. From Windows use Remote Desktop Connection; from macOS or Linux, any compatible RDP client.

How much memory does a Windows VPS need?

Windows Server uses considerably more memory than Linux at idle. For comfortable use start at 4 GB of RAM, and add more if you will run SQL Server, several simultaneous remote desktops or heavy desktop applications.

Can my team use it as a remote desktop?

Yes, it is one of the most common uses. Note that Remote Desktop client access licenses are the account holder's responsibility and are not included in the VPS price.

Does cPanel work on Windows?

No. Both cPanel and DirectAdmin are Linux panels. On Windows, administration happens directly over Remote Desktop with the system's native tools.
